National Drug Take Back

April 24, 2021

Once again, the Plano Police will be partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in their National Drug Take Back initiative.

On April 24, 2021 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, we will be hosting our event at the following locations:

- Clark High School located at 523 W. Spring Creek Pkwy

- Plano Senior High School located at 2200 Independence Pkwy

- Plano East Senior High School located at 3000 Los Rios Blvd

- Plano West Senior High School located at 5601 W. Parker Rd

We can accept all over-the-counter meds and prescription meds (human or animal) but are NOT able to accept sharps (needles) of any kind or combustibles such as inhalers.

We look forward to another successful event and seeing you there as we collect these unused, unwanted, and expired medications for safe and proper disposal at the DEA.

National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.)
January 9, 2021

PCPAAA volunteers placed cookies and signs of appreciation in every Plano Police station and substation.

Christmas Cops

In 2020 the PCPAAA again assisted the Plano Police Association Christmas Cops Program by helping with collections, warehousing, and delivering food, toys, and clothing to families in need in Plano. This program, which is in its 37th year, helps families that are not being aided by any other agency. Over 300 families were assisted by the program this year. Due to COVID precautions, we did not deliver to the families, but rather set up several drive-through locations where the families could pick up their items.

Record Collection

at Drug Take Back

On October 24, 2020 PCPAAA Drug Take Back Volunteers assisted Plano Police in retrieving 3,744 pounds of prescription drugs from the community for the DEA National Drug Take Back Initiative. This was the largest haul in the Dallas area by far.
